When it comes to choosing a college, students have a lot of options - but not all of them are good. Our mission at College Factual is to arm you with as much information as we can to help you make that decision. Our “Best Value Taxation Schools” ranking is one tool we have developed to help in this regard.
Taxation is the 220th most popular major in the country with 1,547 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, taxation graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $77,471 and had an average of $0 in loans still to pay off.
This year’s “Best Value Taxation Schools” ranking looked at 59 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in taxation. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great taxation programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.
When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the taxation program at the school and the cost to attend the school once aid has been awarded. For more information, check out our ranking methodology.

Out of the 59 schools in the Best Value Taxation Schools that were part of this year’s ranking, Stark State College landed the #1 spot on the list. This fairly large school is located in North Canton, Ohio, and it awarded 20 ’s taxation degrees in 2020-2021.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at Stark State College, the school also landed the #10 spot in our “Best Taxation Schools” ranking. The yearly cost to attend Stark State College is $5,963 for Taxation students.

Out of the 59 schools in the Best Value Taxation Schools that were part of this year’s ranking, Villanova University landed the #2 spot on the list. Villanova, Pennsylvania is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out ’s taxation degrees to 70 students in 2020-2021.
