Our “Best Value Entrepreneurship Schools” ranking is one tool we have developed to help in this regard.
Entrepreneurial Studies is the 120th most popular major in the country with 11,319 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, entrepreneurial studies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $42,578 and had an average of $25,632 in loans still to pay off.
This year’s “Best Value Entrepreneurship Schools” ranking analyzed 310 colleges that offered a degree in entrepreneurial studies. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great entrepreneurial studies programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.
To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as the cost to attend the school after aid is awarded and overall quality of the entrepreneurial studies program at the school. See our ranking methodology to learn more.

Top 25 Best Value Colleges for Entrepreneurial Studies
Out of the 310 schools in the Best Value Entrepreneurship Schools that were part of this year’s ranking, Brigham Young University - Provo landed the #1 spot on the list. BYU is located in Provo, Utah and, has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 43 ’s entrepreneurship degrees to qualified students.
In addition to being on this list, BYU is in the top on our “Best Entrepreneurial Studies Schools” list. It’s ranked in the top 15% of all schools on our “Best Entrepreneurial Studies Schools” list. The estimated yearly cost for BYU is $13,474 for Entrepreneurship students.
The low undergrad student loan default rate of 1.3% is a good sign that students have an easier time paying off their loans than they might at other schools.
